How old is this child? and where do you live? This child should be in the foster care system and you need to call them right away. They will find a family that will be able to provide for him. Write back
yes i also cried when i watched the movie and i wish i could do the same thing for this child that has been in and out of our house who has the same situation as Michael Oher .. But i cant do whole lot for this kid but feed him and let him stay at my house.. i wish i could do more for him . if some one out there is willing to help pls. response,, i would deeply appreciate it in behalf of this child.
I just saw the film. Although I did not care for the writing in the film, I totally loved the true story. Thank you the family that all those involved for nurturing his brain. What a story. I just wished the issue of poverty in this country would be addressed as well as the systematic poverty that many don’t see as well as the segregation.

God Bless her and her family for adopting him. That is the kindest, sweetest thing that anyone can do for any homeless kid. I’m gonna cry like a baby when I see the movie. If there were only more people like this family, the world would be a better place.

It is so heartwarming to know that GOD IS ALIVE AND DOING MIRACULOUS THINGS. We should take a lesson from this inspirational story and find a Michael Oher of our own. Who said one person could not change the world? PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!!!!

Michael Lewis makes it pretty clear that Leigh Anne is not someone you want to get on the wrong side of. There is a scene in the book where Michael Oher brings a friend over and the friend mentions that he has a kid and Leigh Anne tells Michael Oher that if he gets a girl pregnant she’ll cut of his dick, and Michael’s response is – She’s serious. Shades of Gray and all that, but most people are a rainbow colored mixture of Good and Evil. Porchop probably just got on the wrong side of her.

The NCAA believed the Tuohys had taken Oher in to secure him as a player for their school. Oher’s high school coach Hugh Freeze raised eyebrows by taking a job as UM’s assistant athletic director for external affairs twenty days after Oher signed with the school. Freeze claimed it was not an example of quid pro quo for encouraging Oher to attend Mississippi.
I’m so happy this real woman and this real man saw the need of this child and helped him and didn’t turn there back on him because he was so big. God was with them and he watched over that young man I love this story I’m going to take my son to see it
the blind side is an awesome and inspiring book… the movie trailer left me in a puddle… can’t wait til November to see the story on film! Go Michael! Congrats to the Ravens!
