WinSpark: Morgan Thacker

Morgan Thacker

Morgan Thacker is an eighth grade student who is new to both St. Anne’s-Belfield and its varsity softball program this year.

In addition to being a leader on the softball field, Morgan carries a 4.0 GPA and plays JV volleyball at St. Anne's.

A natural shortstop, Morgan made the unselfish move to the catching position earlier this season to fill at team need.

As the youngest starter on the Saints' roster, Morgan made her mark both offensively and defensively in her first varsity game as a catcher, contributing to a one-hit shutout defensively and stealing two bases offensively.

Morgan’s dedication to her team and to the game of softball makes her a player to watch over the next five seasons.

There isn’t a more talented, selfless and deserving female athlete than Morgan Thacker.
