Ragged Mountain/CVa Girls Top 5

This is the eighth of a weekly TOP 5 ranking of girls cross country teams as voted by the coaches in Central Virginia. It will be compiled by Mark Lorenzoni of Ragged Mountain Running Shop and posted on CVASPORTS.COM each week throughout the season.

1(t). Albemarle with Head Coach Lance Weisend: The Patriots have three runners in the Top 20, including two harriers in the Top 3.

1(t). Western Albemarle with Head Coach Kate Pugh: The Warriors have six runners in the Top 20, including three in the Top 9.

3(t). Monticello with Head Coach Doug Bloor: The Mustangs have four runners in the Top 20, including one harrier in the Top 3.

3(t). Louisa County with Head Coach Jerry Cutright: The Lions have four runners in the Top 20, including two harriers in the Top 10.

5. Charlottesville with Head Coach Amy Pritchard: Senior Liza Little is the 13th-ranked harrier in the Top 20 power ranking.
